NBA GLOBAL STORE DESIGN STANDARDS
The Design Template Standards for the National Basketball Association Brick and Mortar Store. The manual is designed to help facilitate consistent design, guide the rollout process and manage construction quality assurance. You will find an overview process diagram indicating the roles and responsibilities of parties involved in the rollout sequence, tools and templates for use in surveying and programming, adjacency diagrams for test fit layouts, schedule templates, design intent guidelines indicating finish and furniture plans of each room type, finish schedules, furniture cut sheets, artwork placement and print files, signage design drawings, A/V, IT and, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and security requirements. These standards present an overview of the NBA brand concept and are designed to be applicable to a variety of space conditions. Site specific conditions, however, will require adaptation which must be approved by the NBA. These design criteria documents are intended to convey design intent only. Use of these documents for actual construction or obtaining permits is expressly forbidden. Compliance with all local zoning, building and fire codes is the responsibility of the licensed architect and engineer and is beyond the scope of these standard design intent documents
